Review of the Swainson Administration. [ca. 1963]

Shortly after John B. Swainson's term as Governor, someone prepared a summary of his administration's accomplishments. It is quite likely that plans once existed to publish this overview, but such action was never taken and only the typescript remains. This 100-page compilation is divided into 36 chapters, each covering a specific topic. The subjects range from biographical to vetoes, from appointees to legislative record, and from federal aid to lobbying. This, in short, constitutes a good thumbnail sketch of John Swainson and his term as Chief Executive. Arranged as received.
